A touchless wash is a better option, but hand washing or booking a professional detailing appointment is the best choice. This will maximize your ceramic coating’s longevity and keep your vehicle looking its best.

  • Does a ceramic coating affect how vinyl wraps or decals adhere to my vehicle?

    Ceramic coatings create a smooth, slick surface that can make it harder for vinyl wraps, decals, and even paint protection film to adhere properly. If you plan to apply any wrap or PPF to your vehicle, it is best to do so before getting a ceramic coating. Once you add a ceramic coating over a vinyl wrap or PPF, your vehicle will be far more hydrophobic, keeping those packages in better shape and cleaner.

  • Can ceramic coating be applied to any other part of my vehicle besides just paint?

Myth 3: A ceramic coated vehicle will not get water spots

Minerals from hard water can still dry on the paint and leave behind deposits and water streaks. We recommend using deionized or filtered water for washing and a soft, microfiber towel for drying to help minimize this spotting.
